Brand identity and wayfinding for Helms Bakery

Helms Bakery by CLUB

Brand Identity And Wayfinding For Helms Bakery

Club developed a comprehensive identity for the revived Helms Bakery within the Helms Design District. To distinguish the bakery from the broader complex, Club reinterpreted the original mark, retaining the H crossbar and adding a shadow, and reimagined the historic Olympian shield found on the façade. A modern neapolitan palette ties back to the bakery’s golden years, while a typographic system inspired by mid-century forms pairs DDC Hardware with moments of hand-drawn script. Club extended the system across collateral, packaging, wayfinding, and photography to create an environment that balances heritage and contemporaneity, complementing interiors by Studio UNLTD and honoring the bakery’s Los Angeles legacy.

Visual identity for a multidisciplinary real estate developer

Oskar Group by Blok

Visual Identity For A Multidisciplinary Real Estate Developer

Blok created a personable, distinct visual identity for Oskar Group, a multidisciplinary real estate developer and manager focused on integrating site, context, and community. Drawing on the company’s 30-plus years of relationship-driven practice, the system balances clarity and boldness in colour and tone. It foregrounds human qualities while expressing curiosity and a belief that the built environment should uplift the people and places it touches. The result is a cohesive, confident toolkit that communicates Oskar Group’s sense of place and commitment to quality across touchpoints.

Visual identity and typeface system for a Japanese technology institute

Chiba Tech by Pentagram

Visual Identity And Typeface System For A Japanese Technology Institute

Pentagram rebranded Chiba Tech, Japan’s oldest private technology institute, to unite heritage with ambition and attract global students. Building on the school’s 1942 core character, the team created a symbol-as-layout system that anchors grids, compositions, and an extended logotype. Clean, geometric forms reference the ichimatsu checker pattern, expressed through a proprietary color palette method and custom typefaces: “3×4,” which transforms the pattern into letterforms, and a monospace “5×5” that echoes pixel structure. Latin and Japanese scripts are balanced across applications, while a friendly mascot, “Chibuggy,” animates communications with warmth. The modular system scales across media, hinting at digital pixels and global collaboration, and the shortened name, Chiba Tech, clarifies international positioning. The result is a rigorous yet expressive identity that celebrates legacy and signals future-focused innovation.
