Pentagram developed a brand identity refresh for The Hartford, one of the leading insurance companies in the US, drawing inspiration from its rich heritage. The project modernizes the iconic stag symbol first introduced in 1875, repositioning it to the front of the logo to convey qualities of trust, strength, and stability. This contemporary design features a streamlined visual language that signals the company's innovation and forward direction. Additionally, elements derived from the brand’s history, like the 12 points of the stag’s antlers, are utilized as graphic motifs in supplementary logos. The chosen brand color, a deep claret, reflects a shade historically linked to The Hartford, maintaining continuity while evolving the brand identity.
Fold7 launched the 'Make It Suprême' advertising campaign for 1664 Bière, aiming to reintroduce the brand to UK audiences after a decade. The challenge was to rekindle awareness among a new generation and underscore the brand's sophisticated appeal amid a marketplace dominated by fleeting trends. By merging Renaissance visual elements with contemporary styles, the campaign showcases the elegance and elevated taste associated with 1664. Featuring a hero film titled 'The Masterpiece,' set in a lavish ballroom, the series visually celebrates the essence of sophisticated indulgence. With each film crafted to highlight stylish experiences, 'Make It Suprême' positions 1664 Bière as a top-tier choice in the premium lager market, demonstrating its timeless appeal.
