Knoll by Order Design

Identity System For A Modern Design Company

Order developed an identity system for Knoll, an icon in modern design since 1938. The project aimed to reinforce Knoll's brand legacy and the concept of "total architecture," which emphasizes the harmony between furniture and the spaces they occupy. By revisiting Knoll’s archives, Order captured the essence of the brand’s history and ideals rooted in Bauhaus philosophy. The new identity system honors past collaborations and innovations in product design while ensuring that the core principles of Knoll are maintained and communicated effectively. The system includes meticulous guidelines for color, typography, and imagery, creating a flexible toolkit for the brand in various applications, ensuring alignment between Knoll’s products and their environments.
